Marathon Weekend 2026

Confirmed, my son will be getting all my snack box.

It was so nice seeing all of you this morning and sharing some course time with @camaker and @The Expert. Also walked with Chris Twiggs for a few minutes. Of course, I loved all the Star Wars music. Running around World Showcase to Duel of the Fates was incredible. And I love the disco Star Wars themes so much! I stopped for Moon Girl (my son watches her show, and she was so cute!) and Pleakley, as well as Spaceship Earth.

Apparently the power blew at the start line! They are still sending runners by fireworks only.

Noticed the dead screens walking out and thought that it was odd.

About the snack boxes…..DH recently introduced me to Fritos and cheese sauce. After reading the comments above, I’m a little embarrassed to say I liked it.

DD had a great time this morning! DH had to chase her for the first mile, and then the 2nd mile was a little rough because the early wake-up and light breakfast was getting to her. But she had a great finish and had so much fun.

Since so many people said they really love clever signs on the course, I'm considering picking up some sign making supplies and bringing them to HH tomorrow afternoon. Good idea? Or is everyone coming and going from parks and that would be a pain to have to carry signs around after?

Got on the bus at 6:00, and then waited until 6:40 for the course to clear and make our way back. What time does the monorail start running tomorrow?

I’m so grateful that today’s run went so well! Not that I was faster than before but that I’m finally starting to feel better.

The 5k was great today! DS did so well. Missed his goal by ~2 minutes. Probably would’ve made it if he didn’t need to stop at the bathroom he was the Pluto that had no answers by the starting line
