Ok - now I just need to find somewhere nearby that sells them and then cross my fingers they still have my size Thursday evening (or even worse - Friday evening if there are any flight delays)

Brooks has a try-on area at the expo that you can visit to determine which styles and sizes work for you before you get into the line to purchase the shoes.

I teach first grade and I’m terrified one of my kiddos is gonna get me sick next week. I’m thinking about masking- at a minimum during reading groups when we are close together for a while.

Agree -- that's my assumption too. But if they don't sell out, they'll have whatever is left online the week after MW.

I was hoping Chip and Dale would be Ghost Max, but I like those castle ones, so yay!

Too funny. I just said to my daughter that for the first time in a couple years, I may wear a mask on the plane. There is so much going around right now. I'm going to lay low until I fly out Tuesday night.

I'm a dedicated Ghost runner, and I do really like the new Mickey Mouse shoe design, but I have no interest battling people to get shoes at the expo. Guess I'll just "make do" with the Ursula shoes from Halloween weekend. (Although if my size is still there on Thursday, I reserve the right to change my mind....)

Oh, and on the masking topic, whatever flu is going around the NJ/NYC area is nasty right now and I've had several friends sick. Apparently, it's a different strain than was issued in this year's flu shot.

Seriously, there's a Broadway show that I wanted to go see again that the only reason I'm not going tomorrow is I'm worried about getting sick right before flying down to Disney for MW on Wed.

Was in Japan in November when this first started going around and I've never seen so many people who were obviously struggling with one thing or another. So of course I got something, don't know if it was the flu, and although I had gotten the shot whatever it was wasn't fun.

Actually the Brooks area is really well organized and they do a great job of stocking for demand. It IS in the building where you need a VQ on day one, but they won't run out of shoes if you don't want to deal with the crowds. There's a dedicated line just for the Brooks shoes. You fill out a simple order sheet, take it to an open counter, they retrieve and check the shoes with you, pay and leave. It's honestly SUPER easy and even if the line is long, it moves fast.

I wish they would use better lighting on some of these, it makes it hard for me to determine what color they really are…
I like the impression of the runDisney Mickey on the rD shoe. But I’m not sure if an Adrenaline will work for me. I didn’t like the way they fit last year. Also, I tried the regular Ghosts on at Halloween Half and did t like those either. I do like the Ghost Max 2s, so maybe the 3s would be similar?? But I just need to see a better picture of those castle shoes.

I really like the Ghost Max 2's as park shoes, but not as running shoes. I actually have a brand new pair of the Mickey Ghost Max 2 that I will be breaking out to wear around for MW. I also have a regular pair of white Ghost Max 2 that I love just wearing around for day to day errands. I have a pair of the Adrenaline GTS Run Disney shoes, but between the colorway and the model, just haven't been able to bring myself to wearing them.

If anyone needs an extra boost of encouragement re: masking as prevention, I’ll add my periodic input that I’ve been using KN95 masks in indoor spaces since 2021 and haven’t had a cold, the flu, COVID, RSV, or any respiratory illness in that time. Meanwhile nearly my entire office right now has the flu. Masks work.

They do not, sadly, do much for food poisoning, though. Nailed by something at WDW in Dec. and haven’t been right since.
