OK. So do we think that they increased the number of runners? Or is demand waning? Because I can't believe we all have this many links to share still.

It's hard to measure the impact of queue throttling, though.

If they've cut the number of concurrent users in half, then it would take twice as long to achieve the same number of registrations. A slower sellout (in terms of time) doesn't necessarily reflect more or less supply or demand, if throughput isn't consistent.

links are being posted publicly because there are several people looking for queues who cannot send nor receive DMs.

This feels like it's solving one problem and creating another though. If people can't get DMs because they haven't posted enough then they need to get that fixed on their own, and ideally do that before registration starts. Saying that as someone who got burned by a public link before.

As others have speculated, the reason that the races are taking a bit longer to sell out than in past years may be because of rD allowing fewer people in the queue at a time. So the waits seem a bit longer, but folks still generally get the races they want.
