I just reopened Chrome after finishing my registration and I got right in! If you're still in queue, try loading up a fresh browser and see if it lets you in.
I think if you are using a window that you had already used to get into a queue, there's a cookie that remembers your place in line, and since that browser already got in, there's no more queue for that particular one.
