Marathon Weekend 2017!

I think you can. :) You could walk down and ask if you want to be sure?

I don't think it matters as we've had last minute flight changes & were later than original scheduled, but we couldn't let them know and were fine. They just want you to have a reservation ahead of time so you should be fine.

You can--I've waited for family coming in on a different flight.

Us too--v. glad we decided to do the vacationing on the far side of the weekend instead of prior.

Work? I should be working? What is this work of which you speak?
I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be checking wait times, obsessively checking the weather and reloading the disboard pages over and over.

Great! Thanks guys! I will just show up with DD27 and hopefully they will let me on, lol! :)

Talked to my travel companions and we've decided to stay the course. Now I just get to spend the next 24 hours hoping Helena doesn't mess anything up for us. :headache:

As an aside, anyone know what the stock on the new NBs is looking like? Do we think there is a potential for selling out?

I was there yesterday it was busy but I didn't find it unbearable it's been worse.

I'm sure it has been worse but We found it to be too crowded to enjoy.

I guess it depends on individual experiences and tolerance levels. We have vacationed at Disney about fifty times including twice over Christmas/ New Years, Jersey Week multiple times and Easter Week many times and this was the most crowded We can remember feeling. I am glad we have annual passes and had no qualms whatsoever about just getting out of there.

It is all good. Still on vacation and enjoying!

This is also our third consecutive marathon week and the most crowded by far. Next year we will plan to spend a couple extra days after the races rather than before.

Animal Kingdom is quite crowded today too. Not that crowded but way more than I expected.

We were there this morning as well, and I agree. The crowds are much worse than I was anticipating. We went to Epcot last evening, and while it wasn't insane, it was busy. I normally love the laidbackness (I think that I just made up that word) of Epcot at night, but last night was too busy for that. We are heading to HS this evening and MK tomorrow. I am hoping for some lighter crowds.

Crowds have been crazy for the last week. When we drove down last Wednesday the traffic was terrible and it was a sign of things to come. Everyone, and I mean everyone, decided that they did not need to go to work and their kids didn't need to go to school the week after New Year. I've had a great time, but I would never do a parks before marathon trip again.

All right question does anyone know any non alcoholic non soda drinks I could get in Epcot that's preferably not juice to carry across the finish line?

Our go-to is the mint tea in Morocco. You have to go inside the counter service restaurant to the small dessert counter in the back. They'll make it iced! SO good!
