Gotta be honest - all the upselling Disney is doing is starting to get annoying. Why does everything have to have a premium experience? Think there has to be a saturation point eventually like with the extra hours deal. But with that said I'm guessing these will sell.

That's the problem. People keep paying for this stuff so why would Disney stop. Until people stop paying they will keep doing it. Like their after hours event, it started at $149 but they couldn't sell it and literally had to give tickets away. Now they are trying it again with the price of $119.

Yep you're right and people can spend their money however they like. Just feel like at some point it affects Disney's image but maybe that ship sailed long ago(or maybe just with those silly cabanas).

Interesting add on for light side weekend. Surprised they aren't doing this for marathon weekend.

CA does not have the Race Retreat so this must be the Light Side equivalent. This is a way for them to charge extra to people who want early access to the race expo merchandise. Will be interesting to see how well it sells since they are looking for all kinds of ways to print money.

Yeah I could buy a few nights at a value for $650-$700.

Looks like in DHS you'll go in from behind ToT. Used to go in the backlot way of course but of course the backlot is now dirt.

I wish I was at BC this year. It would be easier for me to make it over there but I'm at Saratoga Springs.

I think so. Granted I didn't run 2016, but compared to my 2015 Garmin data, the front of AK used to be about 13.5 miles and is now 14 miles.

Looks like it. You can tell because mile 20 used to be beyond the baseball stadium and now it is inside the stadium. Also 13 is now before Everest and it used to be past it.

Compared to the certified course for 2016 the mile differences all seem to be between mile 11 and 24. It looks like they have extended the out and back before Animal Kingdom as you know hit every mile marker sooner. For example Mile Marker 23 used to be at about where you turned onto the streets of america and now its before you get to studios. That makes up for the distance lost at in the studios. Mile marker 24 and beyond are the same.

It looks like some additional distance in the AK parking lot maybe. Don't have a 2016 map for comparison.
