Marathon Weekend 2017!

1) I'm a flight controller for the International Space Station at NASA and a 3D Graphics software developer.
2) I'm originally from Europe (Poland) but I moved here at 8 and I love this country. This week I love it even more.
3) I like the Wreck it Ralph song "When can I see you again"....never saw the movie, but saw this vacation video that had it and it was awesome:

Cool video! I'm so jealous of anyone that can put together something like that.

I must admit, I have never had a diving nightmare. However, I only made it through my freshman year in college before giving it up, so no real competing in college for me.
I was ready to be done after high school but got roped into doing it in college. I HATED 3-meter but for whatever reason felt like I had to stick it out for the full 4 years. I don't miss it at all!

1. I am a former 8th grade math teacher and currently a stay at home mom to my three kids (all that is missing is the mini van).
2. Love to put together puzzles in my spare time (which I seem to lack a lot of these days). If I really like the puzzle, I glue it to foam board and store it somewhere. I know that it sounds weird to do that but taking all that time to put together the puzzle then just dump it all back in the box just doesn't feel right to me.
3. Favorite song is a toss up between "I just can't wait to be king" from The Lion Ling or "Make a man out of you" from Mulan.

That's great! I love jigsaw puzzles, too. I've got a garage shelf full of 2,000-5,000 piece puzzles. My daughters grew up with framed Disney photomosaic puzzles decorating their bedrooms.

Fun question!
1. I used to teach, now work for a professional association and get to travel and visit schools all over the country, which I love.
2. Weirdly enough to go with #1 is that I am pretty shy--I have a hard time with "small talk" unless there is a topic is already determined--which made joining a running group great for me.
3. I love the whole Little Mermaid soundtrack--Kiss the Girl and Under the Sea are my favorites. I still like Let it Go too!

@Ariel484 and @opusone--like jumping off a diving board and flipping and stuff?!? That always scares me so bad, I always think I'm going to see someone hit their head!

So great stuff so far guys!
1. I'm in the medical field, have been for over 20 years--man I'm getting old!
2. I started running after reading TRs on DisBoards. Finding out that a lot of people do interval running convinced me that I could do this too--and I've lost almost 30# since starting...and love being part of Dis running groups-ya'll are the best!
3. Favorite Disney song-man that is hard. Right now I really like the new Moana song, "how far I'll go" but really love so many and have them in my running playlist.

Yes. :faint: I never hit my head, but I did hit a foot in high school and it affected me mentally for the rest of my "career." I've seen other people hit the board - one ended up with a broken wrist, but the worst was seeing someone faceplant into the board. Probably one of the worst things I have ever seen (she was okay, thankfully, but needed stitches).

Aw man-see you confirmed my fears! I just can't watch it-ya'll are very talented though. I guess I have dive induced anxiety! That and watching 18 wheelers turn--throw up city!

This may not help your fears either, but I did hit my face once. Fortunately, I knew I was going to hit and was able to get my hands up in front of my face. I had a scab on my nose for a while, but nothing serious.

I both love and hate watching the Olympics - ESPECIALLY platform diving. Yikes!!

ACK!! Glad you had your hands up at least!

22 days until corrals and waivers (Just a guess it will be around 12/6 based on historical timing)
46-50 days until merchandise preview (Because who really knows, am I right?)
50 days until we see shirt designs

Man, I'm dying to see the merch and shirt designs!

OUCH! Yeah, that doesn't make me wanna watch-I'll stick to covering my eyes thank you very much!

1. I graduated from Cosmetology School before I graduated from high school. I won 1st place in haircutting at a state hair show, then never did another thing in cosmetology, going the complete opposite direction, accounting. :)
2. I had never been to WDW before last year and have now been 5 times with 2 more trips coming up. (Cali girl, Disneyland!)
3. Favorite Disney song - You've Got A Friend in Me. Memories of taking my kids to Toy Story on opening day and having to kill 3 hours in Walgreens and Mary's Pizza Shack, when it was sold out for the first showing.
