So, what's - realistically - the latest we'd get news on waivers?

Ya I have been stalking the USATF site for the new course with no luck. The 2016 marathon course was certified on Dec 13, 2015 so if we're lucky we might see something soon...unless they hold off like they did for Dark Side. I am guessing that the courses will be posted at these links; That's what I thought. I think runDisney may have gotten wide to people pulling the course certifications from USATF. It looks like the dark side course this year was certified in October but wasn't made effective till the day before the race weekend started.
This Friday. Pre-race setup next week includes assembling bibs, so they'll be printed and ready when pre-race setup starts on the 19th.
My guess is we see them on Wednesday, with TA registration "closing" on the 13th. After that, they'll put a push on the bibs they have left with the disclaimer that you WILL BE in the last corral.
same thing happens to me.... I'm so anxious! its so close and I'm so excited.. I've already started packing my Disney specific items. January can't come soon enough... (although I am excited for Christmas)Every time I visit this site and a new post is up in this thread I think, "Yes, waivers!" Then I click into the thread and there are no waivers.![]()
Someone officially has too much time on their hands.Yesterday, someone on Facebook tried to pass off the Red/Blue start Marathon Map from like 2008 as the new marathon course.
So #fakenews has officially hit RunDisney.![]()
....sorry.Every time I visit this site and a new post is up in this thread I think, "Yes, waivers!" Then I click into the thread and there are no waivers.![]()
Yup, that's what has worked for me the past few years...I see you take the same approach that I do.

I hope to see something soon too. I need to know when I hit the 24 mile mark how much longer I have to run![]()
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that when you hit mile 24 you'll have (2.2*avg pace) minutes left to run regardless of what the course looks like!
Apologies to @Keels for the math.
Well, looks like they're working on the event guide:
