Marathon Weekend 2016

So will we now be able to identify members of this thread by whose prancersising the race instead of running?
Since 5k registration closed before @Keels and @Ariel484 decided on the prancercise theme, I guess my options are to either spectate or volunteer so I can see this throwback phenomenon.

(I was born in the late 80s, so I mostly identify with the 90s - bring on the scrunchies, jelly shoes, and slap bracelets for 2018 Dopey/5k! ;) .... not that I'm considering Dopey 2018 :rolleyes1)

Do you think someone at rD would lose their mind if I called and asked if it was OK if I brought a horse to the 5K?

... anyone else surprised that the race retreats are so full? And the kids races? I thought those would be around for a while.

I can't figure out any rhyme or reason for the "magical extras" sell out rate. The wine and dine pre race taste has been sold out for quite some time, but the post race party isn't even showing up on the page yet so that must still be at lower than 50%.

I have mixed feelings on the race retreat...it would certainly be helpful if there is inclement weather. But I really love the energy and pre-race area so I'm just not sure it would be worth it. Especially if it is basically just a similar set up to the reunion breakfast. It was cute, but definitely overpriced. I much preferred our O'hana breakfast for nearly half that the day before!

Has anyone ever done the pasta in the park party the night before? Is that fun/worth it?

Hahahahahaha!! Please do!

After all that tension, we deserve a little lol!

Anyone signing for the Pastain the Park Party? Thinking about going on the 9th, to celebrate the half.
