Hi everyone
I got in an extra 10 minutes last night by doing a 70 min walk instead of my normal 60 . Thanks again Karen for the motivation! Tonight I hope to get in at least 35 min. Tomorrow is my long busy day at work so it will probably be a rest day and I'm still trying to figure out if I should do my long walk on Sat. or Sun. I might just wait and see what the weather forecast is. I am going to try and walk fo 2 hours for my long walk this weekend!
MeMe How are your eyes "adjusting" to not needing glasses? Isn't it wonderful! I had LASIK done 5 years (wow it's hard to believ it was that long ago already!) and it was the best thing I ever could have done! It is so nice to be able to see the alarm clock without having to get right on top of it! I hope all is going well for you!

Grammy Thanks for the inspiration to eat better! Yesterday was a hard day but I managed to pretty much stay on track and today I did much better but I have been hungry all day. It's just 1 of those hungry kind of days but I'm getting through it without blowing it! Great job on all the exercise! Wow an extra mile on the TM and yoga both!

Why am I walking the 1/2? Great question Ashley! I knew for years that there was a full marathon at WDW and always thought it would be so neat to do it, but there was 1 problem, I'm not a runner. Last year I read on this board about the WISH Walkers walking the 1/2 marathon at WDW and thought it would be neat to join them and that that would keep me motivated to being healthier and exercising consistently. I am now so glad I signed up (and a bit nervous about it too). It has kept me exercising consistently and I have "met" the most wonderful, inspiring group of people, the WISH walkers here on these threads

I can't wait to actually meet all of you in person and accomplish this goal with you! Oh yeah and I actually do run a little now too, so I guess I'm turning into a runner now too!
So Ashley Why are YOU doing the 1/2 marathon???
