Marathon photographs

One more question for all you experienced Disney Marathoners (Thanks for all the earlier info). Where are photographers along the race route for the full marathon? I would like to smile/look my best, instead of having that I am about to fall over and die look.

You'll probably get quite a few answers on this one, as everyone seems to remember various places that they saw photographers. Here's what I remember:

As you're running up Main Street, there are a few photographers on the left. Right after you run through Cinderella Castle (on the front side), there are about 5 or 6 photographers here, so you're almost guaranteed to get a castle shot. In Dinoland USA in Animal Kingdom, right next to the big, yellow dinosaur that you run past. And then at the finish line, there are quite a few photographers.

Ok, so there's not as many locations as I thought there were. Does anyone else remember any other locations??

There were some on the Blue start just past the Epcot Ball and before the archway of lights, in MGM with the Big Hat in the background, in AK with Expedition Everest behind you, at the start and finish. Even with all the photographers at the castle, you still may not get your picture. I missed this last year and DW didn't get one the year before that. They tend to move throughout the course as the race goes on.

They also usually have a map somewhere in the expo that has the locations where photographers most likely will be.

Our MGM pics were just as we exited.

We also had one going up a bridge around WS lagoon. I struggled to get up, including sticking otu my tongue, heard click and there he was. I think the others have covered teh rest.

Definately stop by the ASI booth at the Expo and find out the locations. THen, make sure you are on the OUTSIDE of any other runners when you run by the locations. The pictures (while expensive) turn out great.
