maps of SSR or AKV

I was looking for maps of the grounds to try and get an idea of where we would like to stay. If anyone has links to maps that would be great!

so, if we want to stay close to the main pool and such, would we request the Springs?

Yes, the Springs is the closest section to the main areas. The Grandstand has the best bus stop though (it is first to be picked up and dropped off) so keep that in mind if you use the buses. And the two Grandstand buildings near the pool there are also not too far from the main areas...though farther than the Springs. Hope that helps!

Another great section is Congress Park. It sits on one side of the main pool, and Grandstand sits on the other side (Springs is right across the street). Both CP and Grandstand have their own quiet pools, while the Springs only has the main pool. We walked to CP's quiet pool most of the time. Also, CP is the closest to Downtown Dis...about a 5 minute walk.

I'd be happy with CP, the Springs or Grandstand. It's a beautiful resort. Enjoy!

How are the restaurants there? Can you tell me approx the times to the parks once on the buses? Are they really crowded because of the large size of the resort?

The Springs is actually the last stop... And I have read reports of this being an issue at times. I have not had an issue myself, however we only used the buses from there on 2 trips (we now use our car for almost 100% of our transportation down there) so our experience is limited with that.

We really enjoy the food from Artist's Palette, we've eaten all meals there many times. We haven't been to Turf Club yet...it's on the list because it seems to get great reviews.

Ok, a couple more questions. Does Granstand have only one bus stop? Can you walk to the main section or is it too far? Does SSR have their own internal bus loop like OKW? How far is Grandstand to walk or boat ride to DTD??
