any sites i can find maps, layouts of disney? trying to get an idea of distance to different places.

Hi...I would try local library in the travel section. In Iowa City people have brought back lots of maps and brochures from all over the world and they are in a big file cabinet. Under "Florida" there are lots of the tourist maps and Disney Brochures that have all the attractions and parks....

AAA also gave me a great map/ tour book of all of Florida.

AAA's city of Orlando street map is really good. We had an old transportation guide map of Disney property and never used it once. Everything inside Disney is very well marked for drivers.
