Map of BWV with room #s?

I thought I had seen a satellite photo that someone had highlighted which rooms were Preferred or Standard, but I've searched & searched and can't find it.

This one (thanks, Granny) shows room categories but not room numbers:

I think that was the one I saw.

So what category are the rooms on the end caps facing the Swan/Dolphin?

Does anyone know what the space in front of the boardwalk that is a courtyard is officially called? Is it the Village Green or just called a courtyard.

I'd love to request it. I just said a room above the art gallery.

It is Village Green. Most rooms are preferred pool/garden but at least the one on the corner (a 1 bedroom) is categorized as BW view.

I believe all the pool/garden view rooms over the Village Green are studios.

That is exactly what I am looking for. We had to change our dates and give up our BW view. So I would love to get the next best thing. We had one of these 2 years ago and it was our fav. of all the rooms we have been in.

Although with our luck, perhaps we should have requested pool view (we tend to get the opposite of what we request;) ).

I got stuck in room 5051, a dedicated 1br that is the last room in the 'yellow section' on the village green. This was indeed given to me as a BW category room. I was not happy.

Note there is no balcony off the bedroom in this unit, just the small one off the living room.

I got this my first time booking a boardwalk view (2004) and was disappointed also. In a way it was good because I had my mom with me (who was undergoing chemo) and it didn't have a long walk from the elevators.

I had a 1 bedroom in October (4011?) that only had a small balcony between the living room and bedroom but only opened through the bedroom. It was under the "arch" in the red section.

The only time we stayed in a BW view studio, we were on the 2nd floor with an partially enclosed balcony. Adults could not see over unless standing up, and childrn had to stand on chairs. OUr worst view yet.

We have a preferred view studio book and are requesting a Village Green. These are so nice and close to the elevators.

Just about the same happened to us in Nov, except room 3051. I was going to back to the front desk but the balcony projected out about 8ft or more, and I know how narrow some can get.We do enjoy sitting out on the balcony and watching the Boardwalk:thumbsup2 I did call Member services a week or so later and they were surprized this happened. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I feel your pain. Once we booked two BW view 1 bedrooms. The one we got for our friends was 5051. We got 2049, a HA with solid wall balcony. The next trip we got 2051 with a tree blocking any possible view of the BW. I do NOT think the -051 rooms should be classified as BW view.
Last trip Dec. 2 - 9 the only BW view 1 bedroom available was 2001, next to Jellyrolls, and my DGF has 2 bad knees, so I pleaded for something closer to the elevator (stairs are too hard for her). I was told nothing else was available but I could get a room a little closer the following day if I paid the room change fee. I agreed. Then we got to the room, used the toilet and the flusher thing broke. Water was going everywhere. I called maintenance but it took a while for them to get there. Then I thought about the shut-off under the toilet (duh--DH should have been with me), but by then I had to wade through water to get to it. I was then given 3017, a gorgeous BW view with a huge balcony, over the Big River. Funny how there was nothing available just a few minutes before.
