Does anyone have the map of the route the Alaskan cruise takes? The itinerary is there but not the map. Thanks

Hmm...I don't see it either. It was there last week because I noticed that the route had changed to sail the inside passage.

Now that would be huge! I would consider switching to DCL from Princess if they did indeed sail the inside passage. Otherwise being in the open ocean AND missing Glacier Bay would be a deal breaker (especially given how much $$$$ it is compared to Princess and such).

I found the map, but I don't have enough posts to insert a link.

If you go to the page for the 7-night Alaskan Cruise, there are three tabs (Overview, Sail Dates, Itineraries). Click on Itineraries and then the map tab (to the right of the slide show tab).

I hope this helps!

Huh... still can't find it. Checked for it on the cruise website and it is showing a blank map now...:confused3

On my computer the map starts out blank, but then the animation begins -- tracking the cruise, port by port. When the animation stops, I can see the entire itinerary mapped out.

I would double-check with DCL, but the new itinerary map *does* indeed show the Wonder sailing the inside passage rather than the open ocean from Vancouver. It's been that way for a while.

ETA: Here's a screen capture of the current map:

Thanks so much for posting this! I couldn't see the whole map because whenever I loaded it it showed some weird Adobe thing right in the middle of it and I couldn't get it to go away. Now I have a nice copy of it -- I just hope that they don't change it again. :worship:

That's great news! Now if they could only get their Glacier Bay permits! That is so key to seeing the wonders of Alaska. Tracy Arm is frequently iced over and the ships can hardly get in at all, not to mention actually see any glaciers close up. Last year my sister did this and said she was really disappointed, although she had a great cruise overall (on HAL I think).
