Is theAladdin show still on? (CA) It’s not listed on the calendar in July.

Princess Fantasy Faire – 10AM is only time listed – does that just mean it opens then?

I just got a flier from my Disney Credit card that has the Princess Fantasy Faire highlighted, so I don’t think it’s going away any time soon unfortunately. I’m still not understanding how it’s in the old Snow White theater. Weren’t there benches in there? Is there any show aspect to this or is it just lining up to buy junk?

Brother Bear trails area – would a 5 year old enjoy this? We’ve never been back there, but the last time we were at CA it was 100 degrees out. I can imagine it’s pretty hot back there.

Is there still a Princess (Belle) story telling time? I see the Aladdin one listed on the calendar at DL.

Fireworks show – is it still the same show as last year (for the 50th anniversary) or have they changed it?
Same Parade?
Same Playhouse Disney characters?

(I’m starting to get DL and WDW confused…)

Any advice on when is the latest time to book a character breakfast at Storyteller’s and still get to see the maximum number of characters??

I have some pic's of Prin. Fantasy Faire, but they are at home and I'm at work. I'll try to post them soon. They have a stage area decorated in a castle theme, with LOTS of plants and flowers everywhere. Very garden like. They open at the stated time. They have princess story time (that used to be in the princess store) down on the floor area between the benches and the front of the stage. The times guide will tell you when the stories are. Then between stories they play games with the kids- red light/green light, duck duck goose, etc. Then they have a little song and dance thing where they teach the kids some things like how to dance, bow, etc. Then after that they dance around may poles with some princesses. In the area infront /off to the side they sell merchandise, do "princess" hair styles and facepainting (much waiting in line for face painting and hair do's- close to 2 hours on a tuesday at noon!). They also have lines for a princess meet and greet/ photo op. You can do the little show/dance/games/story time with out waiting in any lines. There is also crown decorating and coloring that is free, and there was no waiting when we were there.

Brother bear area is a great place to go burn off some energy- and just be a kid. There are slides, climbing, caves, etc. I have a few pic's of that as well (from last spring). We never have sat for the show.

Parade and fireworks are the same as during the 50th.

There are 2 Aladdin shows - one at DL with storytime and the big one at DCA - I think they're still going.

PFF - yup, opens at 10am so you can wait in long lines. I wouldn't do this if you paid me because of the complaints but we do Ariel's Grotto to get our princess time.

Redwood Creek Challenge Trails - YES!!! My 2 year old loves it, it's a huge must do to burn off energy. Awesome place for kids!

Princess Storytelling - I think that was discontinued, but there is a storytelling that happens at the GC for hotel guests. Not sure it's done by a character but heard good things about it.

Fireworks show - I heard the light projections at the Castle weren't being done anymore but other is the same. Parade of Dreams is the same. Playhouse Disney is pretty much the same too.

Most definitely! I still enjoy it as a 20 year old. :lmao:

My friends and I play hide-n-seek there, it's tons of fun. We're too big to ride the zip line thing though. :(

Oh bummer. That was my next question: Can I climb on the stuff and do the zip line? I don't know if DD will do it if I can't also. Is it a height or a weight restriction?

Also, what is the Brother Bear show thing over there. Can you meet Brother Bear there? I know DD would like to meet them but I'm rethinking the character breakfast. Morning is an important time in the parks (before it gets too hot) so leaving for breakfast may not be possible. Where are there character lunches (besides the Ariel one)?

I forgot to answer your Aladdin question- yes, it is still showing. However if you were looking a Mon or Tues. it will not be on the schedule as it is dark those two days each week.

Character lunch options are limited- Goofys or Ariels are your only choices.

Yes there is a weight restriction so parents can't do it, but I don't recall what it is and it is not on the website. They do say 42" minimum for the Challenge but I don't know how/if they enforce that. There is a CM to help the kids on the zip line - they sit on a swing like thing and then zip from one end to another. The CM will walk with them down the line if they are anxious at all. Parents might be able to walk too, but I don't remember. It is a lot of fun for the kids and once they do it they usually have to be dragged away.

That is just for the zip line. Parents are welcome and encouraged to do all the other climbing and exploring. It is fun.
