If she went on it ever, she is braver than me. I stood there watching it when it first opened and once I saw how it was seated, I knew there was NO WAY I could ride it! I still haven't ever ridden Kraeken, and that's much more tame!
Not really. The slope of the lift is so steap, that at that point you acutally feel like you're sitting up straight. But once the drop starts, thats when you feel the weight on your stomach.
It happend to us in October, we waited for the front row which was another 15mins or so longer, my son said " it would be just our luck if it broke down when we're next." Well we done one better, the four of us across the front, they tipped the seat so we were looking down, got to the start of the climb and broke down. We were stuck only for about 10-15mins but it felt longer, by the time they reset it I had pins & needles in my arms, thinking we would have to get off the ride to let them test it without people on it, they restarted and away we went.

Thats the problem lovethattink, once you start watching the ride , especially if you are considering riding , can put you off. Go for it , just get in the queue and dont watch, you will have a great time on it.

I hit my 40's a few years ago and became a ride wimp. Rode Montu at Busch Gardens with my son and when I got off the ride, my hands were numb from holding the handle grips so tight and my legs wouldn't stop shaking. I've been a wimp since. I stick to Rock n Roller at DHS and Great Bear at Hershey Park, and wooden coasters. So sad because I have been a theme park junkie since I got my first seasonal pass to Hershey Park in the late 1970's.
Unfortunatley there is no parks or coasters here in Ireland.
DW rode her first coaster about 3 years ago when she was 47, always chickened out, she stood watching then would decide NO, then 3 years ago she walked over and got in the queue for Hulk, and now rides everything
