Found a great place to eat on Hwy 27 during our recent trip.
as the title says it called Manny's Chop House. it is approx 5 miles south of the I4 junction with Highway 27, in Haines City (on the right hand side about a mile after Walmart/Southern Dunes turn and just before Haines City Police Station).
We were staying on Southern Dunes, so it was very handy, but will definitely go back wherever we are staying in future.
If you like Tony Roma's ribs... Manny's are better! If you like steak, you can't go wrong.... 16oz delicious T-bone with the usual trimmings for $16.99 !!
They did a 24oz but none of us tried it!!
Monday and Tues kids eat free / Wednesday is fajita night (buy one get one free $9.99)- they were delicious, again and large portions
My wife had half a pound of lamb chops one night for about $16.
4pm-7pm is happy hour every night- all cocktails, spirits and draft beers = buy one get one free
We were a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids), although the kids ate of the adult menu and we paid around $120-$140 for two courses (never made desert) and drinks (including "a few" beers). We ate there 3 times during our stay.
There is a great atmosphere. It was packed out each time we went, mainly with locals and the deco is blues brother stuff and American road signs and number plates.
Most definitely worth a visit.
