Manly Man That Likes Princesses?

you are right - partially - only auditions that take place in Orlando (and a couple in Hong Kong) are listed as "16 and over."

The statement is that Disney princesses at WDW can be as young as 16. I'm not "partially" right. It's absolutely 100 percent irrefutably right.

Dude - chill.

Just sayin' that since I live in the northeast, those are the auditions I've always looked at. And those say 18 and older. Even for princesses.

So yes, IF the girl lives in or travels to Orlando, and is 16, she can audition for a princess. But no where else. That was my point. Sorry if you took it the wrong way or in any offense - none was intended!

Nothing to chill over, no need for flowers. If that sounded like a harsh response it wasn't meant that way.

I've never taken a picture with a Disney Princess but I might this year at Cinderella's Royal table. I'm always shy around the pretty ladies though

I'm going to WDW in a few weeks with my wife, SIL, BIL, and niece & nephew (both 5).

The girls have a princess breakfast scheduled at CRT one morning. Since my nephew thinks "princesses are for girls"...the boys will be eating at CP during that same time.

What the?!?...... I don't wanna eat breakfast with Pooh and Piglet!! I wanna meet Belle, Ariel, and Cindy!!! :love1:

I don't know that there's any other place besides right here that I'd be willing to admit that.......

You're both right. The 1:00pm auditions on 9/16 at Disney's Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Facility for Disney’s Aladdin–A Musical Spectacular are 18 and older. The 4pm auditions for Character Look-alikes, Disney Character Performers, and Parade Performers are are 16 and older. This is according to the CM only internet portal. Maybe I'll see you there.

So just curious.... are they doing auditions for the DCA production of Aladdin at WDW? Or are they bringing it west???????

This picture is the epitome of adorable. I love it.

I have. It's usually only when I'm walking along and I see a very short line. I really enjoy talking to the Princesses and Fairies, getting their autographs and pictures. This was on a solo tip, I had the handler take the picture.

Haha! Funny! I only have a 4 year old son, and we did the Princess Dinner at EPCOT in 2008 and CRT in 2009. We're going back again this October, and he's asked me numerous times if he gets to eat with Jasmine again! Haha! She's his favorite! He loves when they kiss him and leave lipstick marks on his cheek! I think I'm gonna be in trouble in a few years!

One of my DS-now-18's FAVORITE things about WDW is CRT !

He has had the opportunity to flirt/MEET several Disney princesses...

He will say that is one of his FAVORITE meals to this day...

Hugs,
Mary

Ahhhh.....if only my nephew thought the same. Too late to do anything about it now - the reservations are made.

I'll console myself with the knowledge that at least I should be able to get a picture taken with Tigger :woohoo:

As a veteran, married man of 27 years, father of 3 adult children and soon to be grandfather...I love the princesses and thank you for making this post. Now I will have the guts to take some of those pictures I always wanted to take. :goodvibes

Actually what put me over the edge was the (I hope) tongue-in-cheek man card revoked picture. I would value my DIS Dad club membership way before what some stranger thinks of my manhood. :rotfl:

Well put Pjimmeyer
My response is get those pictures. You should always do WDW like you may not get another chance. I still kick my self for never riding 20K leagues, because the line was too long.

This reminds me of a story. Every time we went to a Princess dinner where Jasmin was in attendance, after she left the table my son (40 something) would make a remark as to how Jasmin was his favorite (for reasons obvious to the adults in attendance). On our last trip, as Jasmin came to greet the table, my seven year old grandson promptly told her, "Jasmin, my Dad loves you - you're his most favorite princess." My son was totally embarrassed, the adults at the table erupted in laughter and the ever gracious Jasmin, lowered her eyes, bowed her head slightly, and replied, "I am so honored".

My DH has his picture taken with the princesses on every trip. He loves it and I say go for it.
