So, is it OK for a manly man to go get in-line for a princess meet and greet.... by himself?

LOL, the title kinda sounds like a Craig's List ad.

I have. It's usually only when I'm walking along and I see a very short line. I really enjoy talking to the Princesses and Fairies, getting their autographs and pictures. This was on a solo tip, I had the handler take the picture.

My hubby never got in a line by himself, but every time we do the Princess Breakfast in the castle (only for mommy of course...not Daddy or the boys*wink wink*), my hubby is standing and ready for his picture with each princess!! And it's funny how the boys are always ready for their pictures with the princesses too. I wonder why that is considering every time I say I want to do it again all I hear are groans or "do we haaaaaave too"?!

So....I say GO FOR IT! And have a wonderful time!!!!!

Hey, at Disney everyone's got the right to do whatever makes them happy, so I say go for it. There's no shame in it whatsoever. Personally, I have never done this, although I REALLY enjoyed watching Jasmine over at the Moroccan pavilion at Epcot.

My dad did throughout our whole trip last year...he didn't stop at just the Princesses, he was posing with June from Little Einsteins too!

whenever we go we HAVE to meet tinkerbell. I....have never been girly and dont really care and i have two boys...guess who REALLY wants to see tink? lol here is a pic from last year

I say go for it!

And, yes, I got quite the chuckle from your thread title!

I remember a Christmas party years ago. Cindy and her glass coach were behind the castle. There was a line patiently waiting to have their photos taken with Cindy.

I thought it was absolutely adorable - there were more MEN in line than children!!!!

As a veteran, married man of 27 years, father of 3 adult children and soon to be grandfather...I love the princesses and thank you for making this post. Now I will have the guts to take some of those pictures I always wanted to take. :goodvibes

Actually what put me over the edge was the (I hope) tongue-in-cheek man card revoked picture. I would value my DIS Dad club membership way before what some stranger thinks of my manhood. :rotfl:

My dad had his picture taken with Pocahontas in 2008...she was the one character he wanted to take a picture with..:goodvibes

I don't think its weird or strange at all! Whats wrong with posing with a princess? They are pretty, sweet and important parts of peoples personal history (in most cases). As long as you aren't being creepy or looking down the outfits based on your height advantage, not a thing wrong with posing with a character:goodvibes

It is totally okay! DH has had his pic taken with nearly all the princesses. While most were taken at princess meals, I have always loved seeing the look on his face when we would pass Ariel's grotto and would get the camera ready b/c we had to get a picture. What can I say? He's always had a thing for redheads!

My husband has me track down ariel, jasmine and pochaontas for our kids ;). In fact one year he found pocahontas and ran to her line and it was closed. her handler was bemused by his antics and let him have a quick photo

LOL! :lmao:

So where were all you guys in the heated threads about whether there was too much princessy stuff in the new Fantasyland expansion???? :rotfl2:

Love to see all the guys here that like to get pics with the princesses. I say go for it, you're at Disney. And who knows...maybe you'll get a number;)

YES !!! You're at Disney !! Go meet a Princess ( or 10)......you'll probably be on line w/ my DH who tells me that Belle is "a hottie". Yeeeesh. I'm sure he's going to get in line w/ my DD4 "you know, so she's not alone"...then knock her out of the way so he can meet Belle first. :lmao:

Now I'm getting a little nervous.....:rotfl2:
