Mandara Spa AP discount?

Hi there! I was wondering if there was an AP discount at the Mandara spa at Disney's Grand Californian? I have a premier annual pass if that helps. Also would you recommend it? My mom and I are going on a girl's only vacation in August and we have a no park day so I thought a Disney spa day might be fun!

They have a passholder discount. I went a few months ago and only got a basic pedicure, which I wouldn't recommend. There are more affordable local nail salons that provide similar/better service, and they have more color selections too.

I have bought several coupons from Travel Zoo ($200 of service for $100) over the years, and my wife told me to stop buying them -- she does not find the spa worthwhile, even with the discount.

The Mandara Spa is very small and not comparable to similarly priced spas in Vegas or Hawaii.

If you are staying onsite, renting a pool cabana might be a better alternative.

I respectfully disagree...I love going to the Mandara. It's not the best of all of their locations, but I love leaving the park and getting a foot massage and pedi mid-day while everyone else has lunch

I'm also a fan of their facials. (Groupon has a coupon for half off their Brilliance Facial right now).

My favorite day off the parks is doing the morning Pilates class at 6am, the DCA walk at 7am, , a half day cabana either at GCH or DLH pools from 9am to 1:30pm, nap/rest for the kids while I go to Mandara for a facial, shopping in Laguna Beach (if we have a car), if no car drinks and appetizers either at Roy's or McCormick & Schmicks at GardenWalk. Mandara for a massage while the kids and Daddy's do the Lego store and Downtown Disney, then baths and either WOC viewing patio with a glass of wine from Hearthstone or nighttime movie on the grass.

I like Mandara. I try to schedule a massage each trip. I do go for the massage mainly and not a full service spa. And I get to go on Friday!!!!!!!

Have fun @Malcon10t !! I know you get a discount, but I think Groupon has a massage coupon right now too ( I usually do the facial instead of massage)
