Manchester Security

Hi,

I'm travelling with my family to Disney World on 14 Nov 2006. Can anyone tell me what the security check in times at Manchester Airport were like when the recently travelled?

The checks when we went 3 weeks ago were more stringent than normal and obviously it took longer but i never considered any part of it to be excessively silly or time consuming. If your flight is less than a certain time from departing they will shout and pull you from the main queue.

I would give security a bit more time but none of it is excessive just a little bit more time consuming.

You can speed things up for yourself by taking off belts and shoes and jackets before getting to the front of the queue.
