Well with only 2 days to go We are now debating whether to eat at the premier Inn or Frankie and bennys. I have printed the eat and fly voucher but having never eaten in there I dont want to be surrounded by people gorping whislt we eat. I heard that it was quite open . I know that the PI will be quieter and we wont have to worry about eating at the airport. Just have a costa/starbucks.
Anyone know the rough prices at FB .will be one child 2adults OJ and 2coffees and two standard breakfasts.

Thanku

We love f&b's, if you go on the eat drink & fly website there is a menu option next to the restaurant s you are interested in with the prices!

I would def go for F&B over PI anyday. Have had breakfast at PI on a couple of occasions we find the quality of the ingrediants bad, as cheap as they could possibly find, not good at all. This wasn't at Manchester mind you so maybe thats better, but the two we stayed in certainly were bad.

I'm really surprised by that, we are quite fussy but find the range of breakfast options at PI to be fantastic. I have to say we would not have much of the cooked breakfast, perhaps just scrambled egg and bacon but in terms of fresh fruit, cereals and pastries we have found them generous and good quality. Adults are around £8 each at PI but the children eat free which means a family of 4 eat for £4 per head which I think is fantastic value.

Not eaten at Frankie & Benny's before so can't comment. We're not huge fans of TGI etc so if it was similar to that we would probably not go x

Everyone is different though and likes different things xxx

Our breakfast at Frankie & Bennies the other day cost £25 after discount. We had 2 bacon & eggs, small scrambled eggs on toast, 2 hot chocolates & a coffee.

We really liked it.

We ate at F&B's for 3rd time last Monday. Its OK but nothing special and very expensive, we had 2 breakfasts, 1 breakfast bagel, 1 hot choc & 1 tea. cost just over £30. We had their largest breakfast, its not massive, no toast, no bread.
Had PI All you can eat breakfast a couple of times, knocks spots off F&B's. no contest for me.

Premier inn breakfasts are buffet and not the best, they use really cheap ingredients. The sausages were bad enough for me to go temporarily vegetarian :rotfl2:

I prefer Frankie and Bennys but its not amazing either to be honest!

Thanks wayne and everyone. We hv decided to try premier Inn breakfast as will be £17 approx and charlotte eats free. Not the money issue but just think we can get up a little earlier eat then just have a nice cuppa at the airport. Im going to pack now!!!! Never ever been so late packing.

DH has eaten at many Premier Inns all over the country and he has always said they are excellent VFM, lots of choice and as much as you can eat and drink.

We flew from Manchester and decided to eat at F&B's because our flight was too early to eat at PI. I would much prefer PI as I think F&B is overpriced, plus with kids a buffet is always a winner as they can have what they like.

Also, you couldn't use the discount voucher on breakfasts at F&B, only on main meals.:confused3

I agree. I always find F and B food of a not great quality and overpriced.

We have a premier inn by our house and have enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and it's much better with kids

:goodvibes

They didn't let us use the kids eat free in October for breakfast but in May were fine to use the % one off from eat drink fly.

I personally like getting to the airport early then eating brekkie.

We had to be at the airport for around 7am and our kids wouldn't eat that early, so we got to the airport and had a relaxed breakfast - but still prefer PI if I had the choice.
