Is it right that VA are now using new planes for the MAN - MCO route!!?

The layout in economy seems to be 2 4 2 - is this right, as I think we'd prefer 2 lots of 2 rather than a row of 4 then the boys can both have a window seat. Didn;t the old plane layout look like 3 4 3 ???? Have they less seats now?

Back in this morning to Manchester on the 7pm flight from Mco (boo - hiss) on the A330. 2 - 4 - 2 as OP stated. Found the seats really uncomfortable in economy. In flight entertainment, cabin crew and cleanliness of the plane spot on.

Would suffer those seats again for a swift return!

the 8.40 pm flight back is the 747! I suppose it depends on what time of yr it is as well- we are on the afternoon flight and late flight back in sept/oct
glad were on the 747 really after hearing that the a330 isnt that comfortable

We thought the a330 was amazing. Seats were fine. Entertainment system simply outstanding.

I hope they still have the new planes on the man route next August!!!
