manchester airport taxi question

We have to stay in the Premere inn at Manchester airport overnite and i was hopeing someone could give me an idea on how much a taxi would cost each way.the silly things i have to think about now that direct flights have stopped from Belfast to Orlando.

No clue about the taxi costs, but does the hotel not offer a shuttle? We are staying at the Premier in Glasgow this year and there is an airport shuttle.

Manchester Airport shuttle bus
This hotel is serviced by a shuttle bus run by the airport. The bus number is 7 – Westside hotels. The bus runs to terminals 1, 2, 3 and also to the railway station. The bus can be caught outside the terminal buildings. It runs from 4am to midnight every day and costs £3 for a single and £5 for an open return. Concessions are £1 for a single.

the hotel does have a bus but i read somewhere it can take 30minutes. As the hotel is only 1 mile away from the airport and i can get travel sick on busses i hoped a taxi might not be expensive.

Sorry. Maybe someone can help you out with an idea of prices. If it is only a mile it shouldn't be too expensive. I can't seem to find anything about taxi prices, but first hand info from another poster would be better anyway.

I live just less than 4 miles from the airport and it is £10 for a pre booked taxi and £15 for one of the black cabs as well as tutting about the short fair. They add a bit on for a short fair so I can't see it being less than £5

Yeah, I was going to say £5 min too.

If my car had more than 2 seats I'd offer to take you as I work 10 mins from the airport but no luggage space either means it's probably out.

In fact, just checked google and I drive past each morning. What are your flight times, I could borrow the wife's car.
