Hi all

We are flying out of manchester 1st december (yipee) to sanford and I wondered where the best and cheapest options are for parking and nights stay for a family of 4 so we are fresh for the next day.

We are gonna use the 24 hour check in with first choice.

I had heard that shuttle park had hotel on it ....anyone got any info or any links to good deals on this

thanks

Lee

We stayed this may at Bewleys Hotel & paid £109 I think ,for a family room sleeping 4 & 15 days parking. Transfers to the airport & back to the hotel are included in the price. Book your bus transfers when you check in as populsr times get full quickly.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Bewleys & would stay there again. On our 1st visit we ate in the bar & we found the food there better than at the airport & a reasonable price.

Bewleys is near enough to walk to airport though it does depend on which terminal you fly from. We landed on a sunny Sat afternoon & walked back to the hotel to pick up our car.

If Parking for 14/15 days they take your car to an off site car park but return it to the hotel for you.

I always take an overnight bag into the hotel & dump it in the car the next morning before DH hands over the keys.

We booked Bewleys direct with the hotel. You can do this either by phone or website.+

This is only hotel we've stayed at for Manchester. At the moment Travelodge have some rooms available (but not checked for Manchester airport) for £26. But you would have to organise transfers & parking separate.

We stayed at Bewleys recently and found it very comfortable. £69 for a room and £35 for 14 nights parking, £5 per extra night. The shuttle bus was very reliable, picking us up within 10 mins when we returned.

we also stay at bewleys all rooms £69 per night, very good and free shuttle to terminals

Another vote for Bewleys - we've now used it for the last three years. We also had our evening meal (and breakfast) in the hotel this year and were quite impressed with the food. As has already been said, they now return your car to the hotel and you pick it up from there which is much easier - although we did have to wait for 20/30 mins for the shuttle to turn up.

So glad to hear Bewleys is good - I'm flying up to Manchester for work on Monday and that's where they're putting me up :)

Did you see the Travelodge report on Watchdog this week? It certainly put me off booking with them. Apparently they have a policy of overbooking so even if you have prepaid months in advance it doesn't guarantee you a room, it is literally first come first served. A lot of people had found their rooms were no longer available even when checking in at the right times and were sent to other Travelodges. One couple were sent right across London and not knowing the area took them ages to find the hotel. Another sent 2 hours away to another hotel. It is supposed to be in the small print somewhere about their policy but a lot of people don't see it.

As a result of the show they are supposed to be reviewing the situation.
