Just looking to book the other parts to our August holiday, starting with airport hotel and car parking, though we are also considering getting a transfer from home to Manchester Airport. :confused3 Transfers would be £91 for the four of us, but we haven't ruled out taking the car.

We usually stay at Bewley's, and need car parking for 19 nights - we can get the room for £66 which isn't bad, but the car parking seems to be considerably more than we paid last time.

Anyone got any ideas, or seen any special offers? :thumbsup2

For short trips 7-11 days we park up but over 11 days we take a taxi at £90 (£85 + £5 tip) can't beat coming back off holiday and having a driver waiting.:goodvibes

We have twice stayed at The Britiannia County Hotel with parking they provide a shuttle bus to & from the airport but we usually get a taxi. We drive back to leeds after our holiday then back to Newcastle the next day. This year we have booked Premier Inn for £29 & will drive to leeds, then my dad will take us to Man & pick us up on the way back.

Have a look on BCP's website - you can park at the multi-storey at T2 at Manchester for 15 nights in August for £90. It is impossible to be closer to the check in desks that this car park. We've used it the last couple of times we've flown from Manchester and the reason I know the price? Because I'm about to book it again!
Plus, if you use topcashback there's 12% cashback (which has tracked sucessfully both times I've used it).
Not an employee of BCP although I realise I sound like one!:rotfl2:

£90 seems a lot for 15 nights parking, just checked Park & Go who I use, they have 13 companies available from cheapest self park at about £30 upto most expensive Meet & greet @ about £60
Quidco & Disc code SUMMER9
Maybe its the going rate for that car park but £90 is too much to park a car for me.

I've booked 2 rooms for 1 night plus 16 days parking with Brittania and have paid £128 in total, booked through holiday extras, we only live 45 mins away but almost missed the flight once when there was an accident on the motorway so dont want to risk driving to the airport on the morning :goodvibes

Thanks for your answers all, think we're going to go with the transfer, the additional car parking costs took it beyond the value of having the car, so we'll be transferring from home and spending the saving at the bar!!! :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

Plus you will be able to have a drink or two on the way home.
