Man, the Parks are Dead!

Its a Known Fact that Sept 1-29th is "Less Crowded time.":thumbsup2

I agree. We have visited central FL several times since 9/11/2001 during the second week in September and it has been extremely empty. We went to UO several times and it was almost a ghost town during that week with absolutely no waits for anything. In 2004, we even flew down on 9/11 and not only were the parks empty, but the flights were very empty.

We're really hoping that it's like that for the first week of October!!!

All those Free Diners are involved in getting their free food so they aren't riding attractions but sitting at restaurants & riding transport to their next meal. The DDP has jammed up the restaurants but freed up the rides. Either that or people who don't do DDP have stayed away because of the feeding frenzy. I know I was. I wouldn't go during Free Dining if they gave me the room free, too.

Well...maybe if the whole thing was free.....;)

I just returned on the 12th, and I was VERY happy with the crowd levels. I never waited more than 15 minutes for anything, including SOARIN. It was hot, but tolerable with low crowds in the parks. I will definealty plan the next one for the same time of year!

I'm wondering how F&W affects crowds outside of EPCOT? I'll be there the first weekend of F&W so I'm expecting EPCOT to be busy but what is the trend at other parks?

SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...don't say it so loud, or they'll ALL show up in 45 days, when we're there!!!

You know who I'm talking about......"them".....
....the people who call the Magic Kingdom "Disney World"....
.....the people who think that it's ok to push and shove and be rude in lines....
.......the people who think everything be catered to "them"....

.....you know....."morons"....

LOL

;)

I hope it is the same next year. We booked the bounce back for the week of Sept 21st 2008. I'm hoping it's real slow then. It was a little crowded at the resort two weeks ago. That's why I booked later next year.

We are heading out on Monday Sept. 17...for 10 days.
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I can handle the heat, especially if I don't have to wade through the crowds!!!

We leave on Wednesday and I am sooooooo excited!!:cool1:

So just how much has it rained?
:cheer2:

We had rain just about every day at 3:00 pm, but it only lasted a couple of minutes and was actually refreshing from the heat. It wasn't enough to wear a poncho IMHO. There was one night that really rained while we were in MK and we actually missed Wishes and went back to the resort. One disappointment from weather out of six days was ok with me. It beats a hurricane!!!!!!
