Ds18 lost his cell phone on Superman at Six Flags Great Adventure back when he was around 12 or 13. He had it in a Velcro pocket of his cargo pants that must have come undone. This was before we had smart phones so anyone finding it would be able to call all they wanted to on it.
GS said they don't go down there while the park is open. After closing or before opening in the am they search for lost items. We drove back up a few days later and had to give a very clear description of it, not just an opportunity to poke around a box full of phones. They never did find it but we had insurance on it.
It's nice to know they don't risk employee's lives by sending them down there either.
It's so sad for his family & friends.
