MAN, CP vs. Pro Intership, what is the difference

Uhh stupid questions but what is the difference between the College Program and the professional internship? I have been reading quite a bit about both but I have yet to get a response past the disney web site. Has anyone done both? Do you have to do CP to get into the Pro Int? Do they guarantee careers with disney after? Thanks for all the help in advance?

I was actually choosing between both the CP and a Prof Internship. I found that MANY of the internships strongly suggest going to CP before applying, or give preferential treatment to those who have already participated in it. However, I did not do the College Program, and just applied to about 5 different internships and got a call back for one with labor operations, which I've accepted.

College program is more general intro to jobs at Disney. You have the jobs like ride operations, merchandise sales, lifeguard, food and beverage service, etc. For the internship, I get the drift it's more of an "office job," with business casual dress instead of uniforms and all.

I'm sure it would've been MUCH easier to get an professional internship if I did the CP first, but since I'm going into my 3rd year of college, I don't really feel I have the time.

I actually applied for the Industrial Engineering Professional Internship, and I did not do the CP. My internship is one of the few that does not require experience in the CP.

The Professional Internship is more focused on your major. The CP is more an educational experience and you will work in other areas (not necessarily applied to your major).
