Anyone else see it this weekend? I really enjoyed it. i was worried because the reviews have been mixed. I'm a sucker for Colin Firth so I wished he was in it more. Other than that, two thumbs up for a light summer movie.

Loved it! I went with DD who I saw the 1st one with on Thursday, then we came home and watched the sing-a-long. I am ready to see it again. Lily James was great!

We were so busy this weekend, didn't get a chance to see it. I am totally looking forward to it though, the original is one of my favorites movies ever.

Loved the Broadway show which I saw 3 times over the years it ran.

The movie was ok. I despise Meryl Streep so that was a turn off for me.

I adore Abba and Cher so I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Going with my mom and my daughter tomorrow night. Didn't have a chance to see it over the weekend, and our theater offers discounted tickets on Tuesdays.

We decided to watch the first one, because I want to go see the sequel in the theatre. I never saw the first movie. I could barely get thru it. But I was in the house sewing, so at least I was doing something else and totally not wasting my time. About the only thing I liked was the scenery. It wasn’t all bad, just some really bad Lip syncing at times.

I was able to see an early screening. My friend and I really enjoyed it. She had guessed the plot point from the trailer but I had not picked up on it. Knowing now, it's glaring. Ran the gamut of emotions.

Saw it on Saturday with DH, DD16, and a friend of hers. I loved the musical numbers and was happy to see many of the favorite songs used again. I was disappointed in the many, many plot holes, but it was a fun movie to see. I mean, I knew not to expect amazing writing or plots, but some of the inconsistencies were just laziness.

We saw it on Thursday and thought it was horrible. They used every good song on the first movie because we didn't enjoy even the music in this one (other than the songs they reused). It was SOOOOO cheesy and the whole time we were saying "hey that is the wrong order" in meeting the guys!

Same here. Have to find a friend to go with; DH not interested, rolled his eyes when I mentioned it.

Yes it’s cheesy, but so fun and uplifting. I love the music, even Pierce Brosnan’s enthusiastic yet cringeworthy singing, which IMO, makes him more down-to-earth and endearing.

Totally agree, great review. Our weather was so so on Sunday so went with some friends.

That isn’t so bad, but I wonder how the rest of the music will be. The first one set the bar pretty low imo so I guess it can only get better lol

The first one was 100% better than this one.
