We've been to Mama Melrose's, but only for lunch, and it's been a while. We're planning to have dinner there in April on the dining plan.

Who has been and what do you recommend for appetizer, entree, and dessert? Thank you in advance!!!

It's been a while since we have been there, but we've always enjoyed the Fra Diavolo and the spicy Italian sausage with rigatoni and caprino cheese. For dessert, the coffee tartufo and tiramisu are delicious! :thumbsup2

The flatbreads are excellent and it's a filling dinner when paired with a salad. My husband really enjoyed the Penne ala Vodka as well. I love the cozy atmosphere!

We've visited Mama Melrose's twice, most recently just last week. We didn't eat appetizers or desserts, but I had the grilled chicken flatbread and it was soooooo good.

We almost didn't go back to Mama Melrose's because our first visit 2 years ago was pretty average, but after eating that delicous flatbread, I'll definitely be back.

We had dinner there just this past January. I was very happy with my dinner (although it was on the spicy side, and I normally lean towards un-spicy food). My DH said the same thing - his was particularly spicy as well.

So, all in all, I recommend the restaurant, but if 'spicy' is not your thing, tell your server to have the cooks use less.

We had lunch on DP in January. We had a wonderful meal and everyone (including my very picky Italian father) enjoyed it. DH had the calimari rings, I had bruscetta. Kids had a salad and pizza. I had a flatbread that was delicious, but I don't remember the name- it had sundried tomatoes and goat cheese and DH had a shrimp pasta. Dessert was tiramisu and ice cream. Everything was delicious and we will definitely go back! Enjoy your trip!

We ate there in December, a party of six, 4 adults, 2 kids. Everyone thought their meals were delicious. We had 2 different flatbreads for apps. I had the salmon, dh had the sausage, another had the penne pasta, and I can't remember what the last order was.

Last October we ate at MM's & loved it. The salad with the gorgonzola cheese was delicious! The flatbreads were good. DH had a creamy pasta dish w/ chicken which he liked. I had the chicken parm which was also good. Kids kad pizza & ate it all. Dessert I had the chocolate cake thingy..yummy & DH had the tirumisu which he loved. We really liked the place but are trying 50's PT this summer for something new.

We love Mama Melrose. Its one of our favorite WDW restaurants. Some of our favorites are the Caesar Salad, 4 cheese or pepperoni (minus peppers and onions) flat breads, Penne Alla Vodka, and Chicken Parm.

Well, I hate to be the voice of decension, but we didn't like our meals. Here are some pics of our meal:

The flatbread was very good and I would definitely recommend that. I was very unhappy with the veal and my wife thought the eggplant was okay at best. My wife thought the cheesecake was awful and I thought that the tiramisu was just so-so. I have tried lots of tiramisu in my time, and frankly I expected better from an Italian restaurant. On the positive side, our server was very good. We were on the dining plan, so at least this meal wasn't as expensive as it would have been otherwise...but I don't think we will ever be eating here again...too many good choices at WDW. On the positive side, our server was very good. I am glad that others enjoyed their meals though...to each their own. :goodvibes
