Mama Melrose's - opinions?

My DW is very interested in eating at Mama Melrose's in the Disney Studios. Is it worth it? I will say that we have not yet found a counter service eatery in the studios that is worth eating at, so I am interested in trying a sit-down meal. Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Also, try the Sangria, it's to die for!

But remember, everybody has their own opinion on places. Try it, you might like it!

We go to Mama's at least once every trip. We prefer lunch as it is not as busy as the evening. I think the Fantasmic package makes dinner busier. But with the new show, who knows what will happen?

Anyway, love the flatbread pizzas, the calamari, the different pastas we've tried. One son loves the Italian susage dish.

Kevin and Dori are both exceptional servers.

I went to mama melrose's 3 times last year (2 trips) and thought it was great each time. I really liked the service and the food was great!
We're going back in July and I will be having lunch at Mama Melrose's on this trip as well!

This is one of my favorite places and we do The Fantasmic Pkg here each time. I love the bread,salad,flatbreads and the steak....Very yummy!!!!

I love Mama Melrose's . The food is really good and the ambiance is great, it really feels like you're in an Italian neighborhood restaurant in New York City. But my favorite part of Mama Melrose's: the tiramisu!!!

I've loved it both times I've eaten here. I wasn't rushed, for starters. The food was good and the atmosphere was okay, cute but not overdone, casual but not a diner.

We have eaten there 8 times in the past 10 years and enjoy it very much. We will be going back againin July! As you can tell, its one of our favorites!

We loved it a few years ago, and we're going back in 30 days! It's less expensive than Brown Derby, and a nice change from the fast food pizza and burgers in the parks. It was nice and cool and quiet. Enjoy!

I was interested in reading these posts because we are planning Mama's for dinner one night on our next trip. We have done Brown Derby twice for dinner and loved it. Sci-fi is okay for lunch but, I would not do dinner there.
