It is located down by the muppet movie, next to Pizza Planet. We had terrible service there and the food was only okay considering the price. We won't be going back there.

We thought the food was good. The service was horrible. Our meal took 2 hours - horrible service. I don't think I will ever god back.

Oh, wow, I can't believe the reviews. We went just a couple of weeks ago. Our server was great, he rushed for us because we wanted to see Fantasmic. The food was wonderful. I woud say it was the best we had this trip.
Anyway, if you do the Muppet 3D Vision, when you go out the exit doors, it's directly in front of you, you can't miss it!

When we were there in August our service was fantastic, but the food was only okay. My husband enjoyed his meal, I did not. I do not plan on going back again.

We were there in August too. Food was OK - certainly a cut above Pizza Hut but not the best Italian we've ever had either. Our servier was good. He ended up being one of the servers who got more than the 18% automatic gratuity that is included in the DDE.

We enjoy it. Food is ok. the way I look at it, none of the italian restuarants in Disney are "authentic". It's Italian for a mass market (like Olive garden)
Our service was friendly and great and the food was hot.

I didn't like Mama Melrose very much. The service was very slow when we were there and the food OK. Out of all the meals in 3 trips, Mama Melrose was my least favorite.

My family will not go back. It was the worst meal we have ever had at WDW. Horrible service and the food was not very good.


I hope things have turned around there but my family just isn't willing to chamce it!

We went for lunch last week with a party of 5 a little after 12 PM. Service was great-plenty of check backs, drink refills etc. We ordered salads, flatbreads, and one person had chicken parmesan. Everything was really good and we done within an hour. Look forward to going back next year for lunch.

I've eaten there twice -- once solo and once in a party of 4. Both times the service was excellent and food very good. I really wanted to take my son there on his birthday trip in December but ADRs are impossible for that week....

We've been there twice, both for dinner. April 2007 and October 2007. We had a reservation for March 2008, but opted to go off site that night.

We enjoyed both our meals in 2007. The Italian was fine, but fine food is about what I expect at most park restaurants at Disney.

The steak with Gorgonzola was amazing! It was a very nice cut and compared very nicely to the steak we had at LeCellier.

The first time the service was good to great and the second time the service was good.

I love how the reviews vary. "Over priced trash?" I can certainly understand a restaurant not being to someone's taste but "trash"?

We ate there in August and really enjoyed our meal. Of course, we usually get our meals by rummaging through the garbage cans in the parks.

I thought the service was good and the food was good, better than most places in Disney (I'm still looking for that one can't-miss-it place in Disney) and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

DD 14 didn't care for the fish on the walls or the sausages (fake I presume) hanging overhead LOL.

DS 11 ate his entire meal and 1/2 of mine as well as finishing up his sister's. Wow. He's a scrawny 85 lbs too... not after that dinner.

Interesting responses...we are thinking about Mama Melrose for our next trip, hopefully next August or September.
