Mama Melrose vs. Hollywood & Vine

You're doing the Fantasmic Dining Package, but you have no ADR's for it yet??? Um....I'd first check to see if there's ANY availability for ANY of the restaurants on the day(s) you are planning for DHS. These packages generally go incredibly fast at the 180 day mark.

I am going the first week of July, originally booked H & V, with all the bad reviews I changed it to Brown Derby, just last night and it was available as was MM.

I would definitely not change. Hollywood & Vine is one of two Disney restaurants that you could NOT pay us to eat at ever again (the other being Whispering Canyon Cafe). We gave H&V two tries and wish we had quit after the first try.

We've never had a bad meal at Mama Melrose.

H&V is one of the TS restaurants that really needs to be replaced. It has suceeded in establishing a reputation for being dirty, noisy, marginal food, buffet serving line in disarray with marginal effort of staff and management to maintain a level of order and presentation. It is also important to note service, especially since this is a buffet all you need is for someone to get you your drinks and clear the table. It is a challenge for this group.

We would select MM, but personally we try to select dining options within the Epcot resort area or Epcot WS. If this is with the Fantasmic dining option we would select the other two options over H&V
