Mama Melrose or Hollywood & Vine?

I want to book the fantasmic dinner, but I don't know which restaurant to book at. We will be using DDP, and I haven't been to either restaurant. Please share your thoughts on which restuarant is the best.

P.S. I would like to book at Brown Derby, but I really afraid to use 2 TS credits for one restuarant. I'm afraid we won't have enough for later.

I did the package two years agot at Melrose. I could only get it for around 4:30 or so. Both my kids, 3 and 6 at the time, slept through the whole thing. It was good, but very heavy for the middle of the afternoon when it was so hot outside.
This April we are going to H&V even though I haven't heard good things, simply because it's a buffet and we can eat a lighter lunch.

I have only been to H&V once, will never go back. The quality of the food was just not good, IMHO

I do like BD. Haven't been to Mama Melrose in a few years.

It really depends on what you prefer. The food at both are very good, but Holloywood and Vine tends to be much busier and louder than Mama Melrose's.

If you have picky eaters, the buffet at H&V is good, but I actually prefer the food at MM's better.

It also depends on the size of your group. Large groups have a tough tiem & H&V due to their setup.

We just did Mama Melrose's for the Fantasmic package last week and we loved our meal. There were 9 of us--with kids and adults. Food was really good and our server was fantastic.

On a former trip, we ate at H&V for the Fantasmic package and I would not do it again. The place was very crowded, we barely saw our server and adults and kids alike did not like the food choices and some of the food was cold.

For us, it will always be Mama's. Enjoy whatever you choose

We actually had a 4 pm ressie and it was great. We had a relaxed dinner with good food and had time for a ride or two before we had to get to Fantasmic
