Mama Melrose or Crystal Palace Breakfast?

Im having trouble deciding on Mama Melrose for dinner or Crystal Palace Breakfast for one of our TS meals. We are on the DDP an have never been to Mama Melrose, so I booked it for our dinner ressie the day we are at DHS. Our MK day I was going to just to two QS stops because we tried Crystal Palace for dinner last trip and thought it was just ok. Im reading alot of ppl like the Crystal Palace for breakfast much better than lunch or dinner. (plus I have DS he'll be 3, so pooh and friend) I was excited for Mama Melrose because I love Italian food but im reading so many bad things about how it has changed is isnt good anymore. Any feedback would be so helpful. THANKS!

While I have had some good meals at MM, I wouldn't rave about them. We really enjoy breakfast at CP. The buffet offers something for everyone and you'll have great character interaction, which should be wonderful for your almost 3 year old.

Another note, many people have been raving about the character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine recently, so you may want to check that out.

I dont think they do. Maybe my post was confusing??? Im asking about Mama Melrose Dinner or Crystal Palace Breakfast. Thanks! Different days just one of my TS meals for the Dining plan...

Out of the two, my vote would be for Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Thanks for the replay.. We tried Hollywood and Vine for lunch last trip and we thought it was nothing special.. but breakfast...Maybe...DS likes the Pooh and Friends characters better than Little Einsteins and JoJo tho .. Thanks for the reply im leaning toward the CP!

Without a doubt, Crystal Palace breakfast. We usually do an 8:10 reservation on a day the park opens at 9, and that's our favorite part of the entire trip. We ate at Mama Melrose once 2 years ago and it was the worst meal we have ever had in WDW.

Hands down Crystal Palace breakfast. It is a must do for me. I love the puffed french toast, great character interaction and just an overall good time

Yep, what you said 100%!!

We always do CP to get into MK early and it's our very favorite breakfast!

And yuck, yuck, yuck to Mamma Melrose-we tried it twice and it was horrible each time.
