Mama Melrose or Brown Derby?

For your last night which would you really choose for the F! package?

Going Oct 6th (free dining- although I might pay oop for this)- The party is me DH, DS9, DD3 and my DM56. I already booked MM but my brother just came back and loved BD. Living on LI, NY we do have fantastic Italian places to eat at so now I think BD might be a better choice? My DM is a foodie from way back and I want this trip to end on a high note.

Love to hear your opinions before I pick up the phone!

We hated Mama Melrose. The food and service was TERRIBLE. And the price wasn't so hot either. And no, it wasn't a busy time of the day.

I agree with Engle. Dine at the Brown Derby.....

Brown Derby is great! We ate there in May and loved it. I'd pay OOP for it though. For the price of the Fantasmic package, it is not worth 2 TS credits.

The Brown Derby is an under-rated gem. Great food and service. Far better menu than MM.

Brown Derby was our favorite place we ate at only second to Blue Zoo which is a whole different kind of environment. We loved it, good food, beautiful atmosphere. Definately go there.

I really appreciate all the votes and feed back- Okay HBD it is but......
when I called they only have adr for 4:10 (for party of 5) I think that might be a tad early for us. Maybe if we have an early lunch it will be okay.
BTW for 36.99 per adult and 10.99 per child it sounds great- Last time we did H&V (I really just checked the prices to decide) For a nice three course meal it sounds like a good price.

I will keep calling and hopefully there will be a cancellation.

Just another vote for TBD. We ate there earlier this month and it was DIVINE!

I've eaten at both and I really enjoy Mama Melrose (I know I'm in the minority here!)

The service was great, the food was excellent and it was just a good atmosphere. The Veal is to die for! We will be eating here for our FDP in October, and I'm even happier since the menu was added for the FDP over at Allears.net and the veal is included!!!
I've also eaten at the Brown Derby; food is good, but I've always had poor service here (all three times!) It's always crowded, the servers always looked like they didn't want to be there... But as you can see, everyone has different opinions and experiences!!

I'd look at the menus and go from that! Pick what you'd like to eat or something you'd really like to try!
Normally the FDP's are reserved earlier in the dinner hour (or late in the lunch hour), I was lucky to get mine at 5pm for MM...
