Not that you guys don't check...But be extra careful. The restaurant was running behind on reservations...Not wonderful but nothing can be done about it...So you just deal...
After a few problems, we got to the end of our meal. Our waiter brought us a dessert menu. My dh had our gift cards in his hand and told the waiter no dessert, just the check. The server snatched the gift card from dhs hand . We were paying and didnt even see the check! When he came back, dh looked at bill and it was way more than it should be. We had someone elses bill. Actually we had two peoples bills we paid for.
The waiter did come back after a looooooong time and said he messed up. It ended up being fine in the end....But double check those receipts!!!
