Anyone been to Mama Melerose's recently? How is the food and atmosphere? Is it worth a visit? Thanks

It's yummy - more of a Mediterrean flair than say Alfredos. Defintely worth a shot.

We were there last year and enjoyed it :thumbsup2. The resturant is really nice with fairy lights and quite dark if I remember correctly. Food was good!

Comfortable atmosphere + good service + great food = a dinner we enjoyed!

We did the Fantasmic Dinner package there in mid-September. It was one of the best and most relaxing meals on our trip. I loved the tiramisu!

We ate there two weeks ago and it was our least favorite meal of the trip. It took them SEVERAL tries to get our order correct. They kept bringing to wrong entrees or wrong combination of entrees to our table. When we finally got the right food, it was average at best.

Its OK. Its usually not as crowded as some of the others. The best thing about it is to do the Fantasmic Dinner package. I would call it above average.

We were just there Friday night and I was a bit disappointed. The server took our orders and the flatbread came out within a few minutes, then the salad...but before we could even eat either, our entrees were brought to the table. We literally had no room at the table. When I made a comment to the server that the food was brought too quickly, she apoligized and then disappeared for a very long time. From that point on, it took forever to get dessert and the bill. I would probably not go there again unless it was in connection with the Fantasmic Package.

We are excited to try in when we go in December...love Italian food and when we exit the Muppet Ride it always smells so good!

We were just there in September and everything was wonderful as always. We are booked again for December. :thumbsup2

We went for the second time in June for my birthday. The food is good. Definetly different Italian than Alfredo's in Italy. I'm Italian, by the way, and enjoyed it. They made my 12 yr old son, a HUGE cheese calzone, which he loved. The waitress also brought out a special chocolate dessert for my birthday that was yummy! I say give it a try.

We were there 2 weeks ago and LOVED it!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, it was the best meal of our trip (and we at some of the favorite places like Le Cellier and the castle). The atmosphere was wonderful -- dark with small white lights decorating the ceiling. We thought the food was fabulous!!!! :thumbsup2 I had the wood grilled chicken. It was yummy! DH had the veal. He said it was the best he has ever had!!! DDs each had flatbread -- like a pizza. They liked it. Our server was Kevin, and he was fantastic! He made the meal even better with his superb service!!!!! :thumbsup2

We ate there on 10/1 for the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. and really loved it all.... we'd eaten there years ago and the menu has changed a bit. I'm a big fan of Bertucci's at home so this was on par with that kind of food....would definitely do it again :thumbsup2

Do the fantasmic Dinner package and you will not have to wait in line for the show and have a great dinner to boot. We love Mama Mel Rose. We ate there in Aug and no complaints here.

It's been one of our favorites for over 10 years while visiting the World. DH orders the italian sausage pasta; DS the chicken parmagan; DD the 4-cheese flatbread with only Mozzerella; and I cruise around the menu and order just about anything. The grilling process adds a wonderful flavor :woohoo: We like the relaxed atmosphere where you can sit and enjoy a good conversation and the efficient service. So far haven't had room to try one of their desserts, maybe in June :thumbsup2 We do Tony's for lunch in MK but avoid Alfredos--the two times we've tried it we've been VERY disappointed in both the quality and taste and the service--they are very pompous. :cool1:

Another vote for Mama Melrose even though it's not "real" Italian. I suggest you avoid Alfredo de Roma like the plague. Food is mediocre, service is worse. :)

We have always liked Mama Melrose's. The atmosphere is nice. Sort of warehouse turned into restaurant with a Rat Pack feel to it. It's really neat. I have always loved their chicken parmagiana, very tasty for not "true" italian. DH likes the pasta with sausage and the tiramisu. Service is always up to par and never had a problem!

Hi, So GREAT to hear all the nice reviews on Mama Melrose's! I booked the Fantasmic pkg.at Mama Melrose's for my Birthday(dec.18th).This was the best night for us to fit in Fantasmic. We will actually be doing a Birthday Celebration dinner at Citricos the night before.(SHH-its the BIG 5 0!!) Joan
