Malware Warning

On chrome on three different threads (1 disunplugged, 2 News & Rumors) I'm getting the following -

The site ahead contains malware
Attackers currently on cm.mgid.com might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer that steal or delete your information (for example, photos, passwords, messages, and credit cards). Learn more

Help improve Safe Browsing by sending some system information and page content to Google. Privacy policy
Google Safe Browsing recently detected malware on www.disboards.com. Websites that are normally safe are sometimes infected with malware. The malicious content comes from cm.mgid.com, a known malware distributor.

If you understand the risks to your security, you may visit this unsafe site before the dangerous programs have been removed.


I haven't tried any other threads via chrome and was able to get here on firefox without issue. I also haven't tried the news threads via firefox.

Not sure if this is related or different from the certs the other and if it's just me or others. Though I"m not having the problem on other sites.

I'm able to get on using chrome now. I'm wondering if it wasn't the ads that were loading that triggered it rather than the actual Dis. If it pops up again I'll post though.

I also got this, I am thinking it must be an Ad that is tripping the security software. Not very fun.

I got a similar warning yesterday (1/24/19) as well. I also wondered if it was the ads, but got off just to be safe. The warning is not appearing this morning.
