mall of the millennia

Jana has said it all really. Definitely my current favourite. We revelled in some 'people watching' whilst sitting on the verandah of the Brio Tuscan Grill during our last trip. The valet parking is right outside and we were treated to some first class entertainment - i.e. the owner of a Ferrari 355 being upstaged by the Ferrari 360 which pulled up right behind! Not that I'd say no to either, of course.

However, I'm currently in love with The Cheesecake Factory and have eaten there three times. A gargantuan menu to suit all tastes.

The obligatory Gap, Banana Republic and Victoria's Secret all sit pretty comfortably amongst the New York department stores and designer stores such as Jimmy Choo, Chanel and Tiffany's. Lucky's Jeans has surpassed Abercrombie and Fitch as the gear to be seen in if our teenage dds are to be believed.

If you only have time for one shopping mall this has to be it, a totally different experience to anything else in Orlando.

We had a great time at the Mall at Millennia. We were only going to "pop in" to see what it was like, I thought we wouldn't be buying anything with the up-market shops being there. But we spent the whole day there!
Bloomingdale's, Macy's had sales on and my daughter even bought a Burberry bag, I said it may be cheaper back home but how wrong was I. I recently found out the bag was more expensive here and they didn't even have the same style available.
A definite must for shopaholics. :p

It's a spectacular place to visit, I thought that even their food court was MILES ahead of any of the others I had seen in tems of quality and ambiance. The only word of warning I would put is that this is a seriously upmarket mall and the prices are to match. I would suggest that visits to Premium Outlet mall, Belz and LBV mall first to buy the "regular" stuff and then if you've got any money left the MAM will clear you out. I can see an argument for visiting the MAM first to check things out, but this is only for those of an iron will because there are some most attractive things to tempt a weaker soul ( JANA !!!!!!) :) LOL

Fantastic Mall.

Its my very favourite at the moment.

Nic gets the sweats when I mention it.

DW and I went there last month and contrary to everyone else, we didn't like it much.

Macy's was in a terrible state, it looked like a jumble sale with clothes everywhere and thrown/dropped on the ground. Reminded me of Arnotts if you know their shops.

The building looks impressive but most of the shops are already in the area, apart from the really posh ones which no sane person can afford. Food court was nice, Cheesecake Factory looked very nice but we didn't venture in - it was heaving with customers.

We did buy a pair of trainers, only because we couldn't get them in another branch of Finish Line!
