Malficent and The Chronicles of Narnia

We are going to Disney on Friday, and I can't wait! Anyway, does anyone know where we can find Maleficent? She is my favorite Disney Villian, and we haven't met her yet. And is there any Narnia stuff in the parks? I loved it when we saw it. I would love to get some merchandise. TIA!!

You'll want to go to MGM for the Narnia walk-through. I have seen Malificent in Toon Town at MK. I think she is at MGM as well, but I haven't personally seen her there.

Several years ago we were at the MK...and it was the second parade of the night so the park was pretty cleared out....I stood near the end of the parade just me and my kids...Malficent was on a float and looked right at me...so I blew her a kiss....she put her hands on her hips and turned her back on me....I still laugh every time I think of that...

We were there at Christmas and thought we could get Narnia plushes. We had just seen the movie on the Disney Magic (yes, back to back weekends of Disney stuff). But there wasn't any!!! We were astounded. Disney is losing lots of $$$ on this. They did have playsets - the plastic ones. That's about all the merchandise we saw.

I've also been on the lookout for Narnia plushes. I'd love one of Aslan. I agree that Disney missed a bet on this one. Someday, I'd really like to sit down with Disney marketing people and talk reality with them. They have the oddest ideas about what people want.

I have never seen Maleficent any place but the parade. The Wicked Queen from Snow White can be found at MGM on a regular basis. I once saw her there and told her she was one of my favorites. She just looked at me with this kind of chilling gaze and said "You have excellant taste!". LOL!

we just saw The Chronicles of Narnia last night. What an awesome movie. We are really looking forward to the walk-through exhibit.

The only place I've personally seen Malificent was at the old Villains meet-and-greet area where Pooh's Playful Spot is now. She's pretty hard to find, but if she's out, it would probably be at MK either in Town Square near the Expo Hall or in Toontown near the Train Station. She's a regular in the Share A Dream Come True Parade though, and, of course, has a staring role in Fantasmic.

Ask a CM at guest services, they will find out for you if she will be out and where she will be if she is.

Maleficent is just so rare that it takes being "at the right place at the right time" kind of luck. Sometimes you just have to be there the right time of year. Recently, we only seen her at MNSSHP parties, by the Castle. If you are going this Friday, I guess that won't help you much!

I have not seen her on a normal park day in a long time. I am not sure why she does not get out more often, as they have Maleficent in the parade, why not send her out to meet, too? Oh well! Maybe you will be REAL lucky, but chances are that she will not be out, but sometimes you never know!
