Making your own T-shirts

Well, do to a few (crappy) things in the last few weeks, I'm trying to budget the things I have left to do for out Disney trip. I'm fairly crafty, so I figure I can do the T-shirts. Couple of quick questions:

1)I want to do iron ons that I print. Any brand of paper you guys recommend?
2) Has anyone ever done an iron on transfer onto a dri-weave style shirt?
3) I want to do cinch-sacks also- does anyone have a good resource to purchase them online?
4) I am presuming I can buy the iron on transfer paper at Michael's. Is this true?

Any tips you may have, links to great DIY sites, etc would be great!

I want to do the 3 circles mouse ears with "S2 family reunion, 2014' inside the big circle and our initials inside the small ones for the cinch sacks, and a quote from a Disney movie (a different one for every body) on the T-shirts.
