Making your own magic

What a fun post! We used to give away our paper fastpasses when they were for later at night, and we were too fizzled out to use them.
I will look for ways to spread the magic on our next trip! We're taking DH's niece with us (our kids think of her as a sister!) so that's some pixie dust already.

When my twin DDs were 5 (eight years ago), I was looking for ways to keep them busy when we have to wait in lines. I read a post on these boards about handing out stickers to other kids in line. I bought each of my girls a roll of Disney stickers and told them to pass out stickers to other kids anytime we were waiting for something. This not only kept my DDs occupied, but also cheered the other kids. Even the older kids got a kick out of it and would wave or talk to my girls whenever we passed each other.

Now for the best part, we were in Epcot sharing a cream puff in France's bakery. Nearby a toddler was having a complete and total meltdown. The parents were at their wits end. Without any prompting from me, my thoughtful twin DDs approached the wailing little boy and wordlessly placed a sticker in each of his hands then came back and sat down. The wailing stopped. The little boy sat quietly looking from one sticker to the other. The exhausted mom turned to us, looked at my girls, and simply said "Thank you." That memory is one of our family's favorites.

That is truly Awesome. As a parent, I am sure that made you very proud. I know I would have been. It is wonderful when we see our children doing the "Right" things even without prompting.

We leave in three weeks for my daughter's Wish Trip with the Dream Factory. I am going to pick up stickers at Dollar Tree for this. How fun. I know that we will be the recipients of much fairy dust and kindness, so we can spread some around, too.
I started stocking up on glow sticks and bracelets already.

Yay! I love this thread! Once at DHS, a family next to us offered us one of their cupcakes to enjoy and that made my day!

I used to always give away FastPasses when they were paper and I couldn't use them.

One trip I bought a package of small plastic tiara party favors (the kind with a comb that sticks in your bun) and really only needed one for myself, so I shared the rest of them with little girls throughout the day at MK. Their reactions were pretty magical!

My favorite thing now everyday and at the parks is to place LoveRocks for others to find. I sometimes give them to people and characters, but often just leave them in places (like a bench or on a table) for others to find throughout the day. They're fun to make and share with others. I am planning on making Disney fabric themed ones for our upcoming trip!

What a cute idea!! I'm thinking of stealing it :) Where did you find a roll of Disney stickers? All I have seen are sheets but I think the roll would be easier to keep up with

You can also get little scotch tape style dispensers of stickers these days? I saw some at a drug store just the other day. I just looked at Amazon and if you search for Disney sticker roll you'll find some good options if you've got Amazon Prime!

if using the dining plan and tired of deserts, asking a CM to give your dessert to a family with a child not using the dining plan. :)
I think that this is brilliant. I love desserts but sometimes I'm just sweeted out by the end of the day and I still order a dessert because it's 'included'.
