Making your November 2008 reservations?? Anyone have to waitlist?

I was just wondering how many people are booking their November 2008 reservations already? Anyone have to waitlist yet?

I've already started calling every day to get my reservation at BCV and have had no problem. This year we had to change hotels for one night because one night did not come through and we didn't want to have to that again. It was too much of a pain for us.

I call Monday for a 9 night reservation. I don't like that call every day thing. Not to get 9 nights!

Yes, it was at BCV for November 2-7. I will be giving it up, though, at my 7 month mark, for a 2 bedroom at OKW.

I called, at my 11 month mark for my first night, and asked what availability looked like. I was told they had plenty, so I waited until Friday, called back and booked the whole trip.

Called at the 7 month mark for BCV 2 bedroom, didn't request a certain room type for the 2 bedroom, waitlisted for two days and one day came through but the other did not, we moved to BWV for the one night, for us it was a pain so we didn't want to do that again.

I did a day by day booking last week for BCV Nov 2-7, studio.
First time I used the day by day booking and in some ways I thought it was a pain.

I did my booking today, BCV studio from 10/31-11/9 - no problems.

I had no intention of doing day by day booking for a stay that long. It's my experience that it isn't necessary at 11 months.

I don't think so.

The only time I had to call and book day by day was when I got a Grand Villa at OKW the first week in December. Luckily, I have a friend who's home is OKW and she did it for me, otherwise, I know I wouldn't have gotten it.

Well, our November '08 dates aren't firm yet, so I wont be calling for another week. I'll probably be able to book the whole thing by the time I know my dates.

Yesterday I booked our annual November vacation, this year 4-10 at VWL. I booked One dedicated 2-bedroom and Two studios, all with deluxe dining plan. Now just have to book our flights when they become available, and purchase our park passes in June, hopefully to beat the increase!!

I wanted a BWV standard view studio for Nov 2-11 and had to waitlist Nov 2-3 that a Sunday/Monday night on waitlist....

I was able to get all my days for my stay at BCV November 4-11th, 2008 I am so happy I wont have to change resorts this year

I called Monday for a 1 bdrm Boardwalk View in the 2nd week of October. No problem getting it. Unless it's a real unusual room, I just don't think you need day by day at 11 months.

We will be at OKW (our DVC home resort) Nov. 15-18, 2008...It will be our granddaughter's Disney debut (with her parents, too, of course!). I did not have a problem getting the Grand Villa for three nights but I did book it at the earliest possible moment.
