Making rope drop from WBC

What time do I need to leave Wyndham Bonnet Creek to make rope drop at each of the parks ?

I've never stayed off site before and am using a rental car. I know we have to drive to the TTC to get to the MK, what time should we leave the resort to make it to rope drop ? This is the one I'm the most concerned about...

On Oct 1st I left WBC about 1hr before the official park opening and made it inside the turnstiles for Rope Drop. (Keep in mind, that was a crazy busy day at the MK).

the TTC is maybe 10-15min away from the resort, and I like to give myself another 30min to make it from the TTC to the front of the MK to be on the safe side.... but in reality it seldom takes that long.


sometimes the Express Monorail however doesn't start running untill closer to rope drop, but the Ferry is usually already running. Even still, the Monorail can end up with a long line at park opening, so the Ferry ends up being quicker.




for the other parks, maybe 15-20min should do you fine since the actual drive time isn't that long.

We left WBC at 7:45 for a 9:00 rope drop at the Magic Kingdom. We got front row parking at the TTC and were on the monorail by 8:15 and at the MC by 8:30. We had a great spot to watch the rope drop ceremonies and were within the first 30 people in the park. There were TONS of people behind us at the rope drop, so I would plan to get there a little early.
I am not sure about any of the other parks. We only wanted to make the rope drop at MC.

Left this morning at 8:20 and we were in the mob at DHS at 8:40 waiting for the Toy Story Dash. MK is a little longer, I'd leave before 8 just to give yourself time. We left the other day a little past and were entering the gates just past 9am.
