Making room requests

When you call for a reservation make the requests at that time. Also make them in order of importance, for example, non-smoking, bottom floor, near HH, or whatever. If you really want to make sure of a non-smoking then I would just rerquest non-smoking and leave the rest to chance but that would be at OKW where most of the rooms are very equal and have a very nice location.

Hey Antnee, you might want to request the Turtle Krawl pool area. It's a really nice quiet pool, but has a snack bar and a sand play area. I was in Bldg. 34 last time and it was great. Close to the bus stop and the pool. :)

The Turtle Pond pool would be near bldg 34. Turtle Krawl is the area near check-in and the main pool.

I am assuming you are talking about OKW - if not - please say

call MS and request (your choice)

views - woods, golf and water

location - near the HH, bus stop or pool

the most request location is near the HH - I don't happen to like this location - but I am in the minority

here is a map

Oops, you're right, sorry.

Why would want near the HH?

For a quick walk to the store, check-in area, Olivia's and main pool.

We always have a rental car and don't go much to the HH, so we prefer the quieter area of Turtle Pond Road. We enjoyed water views in building 31 & 43.

When you said DVC most of us assumed you meant OKW which was known as DVC for so long. The HH is where the main pool and kiddie pool are located if you have small children. If you have some kind of difficulty walking you may not want to have to walk to far to get something to eat so that is another reason for being close to HH>

yes - the quiet places not near anything but the golf course -

the few that I remember 21, 22, 38 and 49 - I know 49 is quiet I stayed there once.

these locations are pretty far from the bus stop - and the other noise that is often a complaint - I didn't think the laundry train goes that far into the resort - but again I am not sure.

I don't like them because they don't have a water view - one of my must. and they are a walk to the bus stop and most of the time a pool.

if baby needs a nap I would stay at these villas - of course that doesn't mean you want have very noisey neighbors.

back when I first joined on my third trip (first with my mother) we stayed in a 1-bedroom lock-out - in the studio next to us was a bunch of kids - probably college age on winter break - talk about noise......however they were only there a limit of time
