Making reservations for others

I am planning a trip for 20+ people next summer. They are complete WDW newbies and I am booking everything. I've purchased books and plan to recommend websites for them to read to learn more about WDW, but I know I will need to make ADRs for them. Is it possible for me to make reservations if I am not part of a group for a certain dining experience? Would I need to use their credit cards (some don't have cards) or buy prepaid cards to use for them? Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, 20 people! That sounds like a fun trip to plan!
Are you planning on trying to make reservations for all 20 to eat together or in smaller restaurants at different times?

For smaller parties at different times, sure you can make the reservations for them. If you make them online, you will need to make sure one member of each smaller group has a disney account to make the reservations under.

As far as the credit card goes, not all restaurants require a credit card when booking (usually character meals, or Ohana comes to mind....). I don't think Disney cares who's credit card it is as long as they have one on file. Are you comfortable with using your card for their reservations?

Thank you for your reply! My father and I are paying for everything. My mom always wanted to take her sisters and their families to WDW but she passed away a month ago. I'm using funds she left me, along with my father helping, to make her dream happen. I'm hoping we can get a good deal to stay on property and buy deluxe dining to make things easier. I just didn't know if the credit card was mine and I'm not part of a group dining for a particular experience if it would be a problem or not. I don't plan on us all eating together at every meal as we will have different interests.

It is a wonderful thing you are both doing.
They do not care whos card it is to book. I just booked things for 3 families going together in June. I used mine to reserve all of our dining.
