Making Reserv. at OKW or BWV

I have a question for all the seasoned DVC members out there. We plan on renting points from a DVC member for a 2-bedroom villa for the second week of december 2003. I know that reservations can't be made until the check-out date of your stay, so would you recommend calling MS every day at the 11-month out window and making the reservations on a day-by-day basis, or would it be better to wait until the "official" check-out day to make one reservation as a whole? Basically, I'm asking if it's really that hard to book an OKW or BW villa for the second week of December since I know that this is a busy time at WDW for DVC members.

The first two weeks of December are very popular with DVC members. You will not be able to call and make the reservation. The person you are renting the points from must make the calls. You might suggest that you would like them to make daily calls on your behalf. Usually, they can get a good idea of how tight things are if the ask when they call the first day.

If you want BWV standard, I would tell the member to do day by day. For BWV preferred or OKW, you could probably wait until checkout day. Or make the first half of the reservation 3 or 4 days in and then finish it up.
